I read the FAQ, but couldn't find this one

at the bottom of my IE windows (XP), I lost the "display" bar. I'm not sure what you call it, but when you put the cursor over a link, at the bottom of the IE window border it displays the address of which your mouse is hovering. It's just not there and I can't figure out how to bring it back. It's there in my wife's account and not mine. Can anyone tell me how to make this active again?

Its usually view-->>status bar. But I havent touched IE 6 or XP so I cant tell you they didnt change the name they have been calling it forever and a day
