Because it's like telling a fat person to drink diet coke to solve their problem. Their problem is they have an eating problem. As soon as they don't have access to their fix, they'll go back to whatever. A nicotine addict who uses ecigs is more than likely going to reach for a cigarette when the opportunity presents itself.

Just something that they can look forward to taxing. Some ecig models are already expensive and mostly made in China so they have to say oh we dunno what they are using for the juices, atomizers, and other components. Like we don't have many things already from China like the chickens they will send there for processing and other meats but those are fine you know...no big deal. Bunch of hypocrites really.

i quit for 2 years, cold turkey. no cravings, just had to get used to not lighting up while driving. then about 9 months ago i had some serious cravings, just out of the blue. i was no way going to start again but i had to do somthing about the cravings. so i got a ecig with low nic juice. it solved the problem.

anything is better than tobacco and the juices you can get are amazing. im hooked on chocolate right now, and my next is cappuccino. zero nic. my addiction is physical not chemical.

not true. ive knows many ex smokers who are on ecigs that have no desire to fire up tobacco. some people just can not quit. no matter what you say, tax or ban. anything is better than tobacco period. you can not apply what worked for you to everybody else and expect the same results.
 
Nothing works as well as ecigs, penny on the dollar in expense, still get the pleasure of nicotine, without the smell or health problems of smoking, nice clean habit.

Most don't realize it but there are US sources for nicotine liquid and you can mix your own for about $1-2 a week... replaceable parts that might add up to another $3 a month for me average..

People say ecigs are a crutch, but with there being no negative side effects, its just another drug like caffeine, without any reason to quit 😛

Mind sharing where you get your juice from ? I'm a menthol type of guy and I tend to like mtbakervapor since they have a nice selection. But I am too picky to try non menthol juices.

my main source is OKCVapes.com they make their own juice. my other choice is a vape shop just opened up near my work that has a tasting bar, they dont have a big selection but what they do have are interesting.

Yea but for a lot of people, they want the nicotine, the FDA is concerned kids can buy online and get addicted to nicotine and the switch to analog later on. Some big tobacco Co's are already selling E-cigs, I think RJR sells the "Blu" brand disposable ones.

When I was in Dallas visiting, they have some very nice vape lounges. Great selection of juices too. Here in Philly there is only one shop I know, 20 min from me and they don't have anything that tastes too good. I only shopped there once because my juice was late in the mail.

My other friend started a vape shop in Dallas, I think his source for juice is velvet vapor or ecblends. It can be pretty rough ordering stuff online only to find you may not like it.

from the number of kids i see smoking at my kids high school, i fail to see why that would be a concern. kids will get cigs no matter what the FDA does.

I started smoking when I was 12 and smoked for 15 years. I wish I could sue the shit out of Camel for blatantly advertising to kids with Joe Camel. Those Camel cash catalogs were passed around between all the kids.

I never had an oral fixation. I started using snus cause I liked the taste. I had no intention of quitting cigarettes. I started smoking less and less, and said fuck it, I might as well quit. That happened over an 8 month period or so.

i tried snus, didnt care for it.

Oh yeah, and I smoke the hell out of ecigs. I loved smoking but quit because of the whole cancer thing. But I gladly picked up an ecig and smoke it all day. Dr. Pepper flavor. That's also blatant pandering to children.
