I quit playing WoW!

So I canceled my sub and uninstalled the game from my laptop because it was taking over my life such that I couldn't balance playing the game and taking care of life's responsibilities. But now when I go home, it feels like I have nothing to do 🙁 Ugg.

I sold my account...decided to re roll horde. MAN is it nice not having to follow a guilds raiding schedule. gruuls, ssc, tk....no more until I get this little nub up to 70.

New realm, no money, don't know anyone...LOVE IT. hahahaha, I do not have to play all of the time. playing at leisure > guild raid schedule.

if you had to cancel the sub and uninstall the game completely, then you didn't really cure the disease. you only treated the symptoms.

I played starting with beta for about a year and a half and then quit one day when I was bored of it. Never looked back. I'll never play one of those games again.

I just downloaded and installed wow yesterday... I'm this close to activating my character.... must resist...

I gotta wait until at least after spring break cause i'll be away that whole week... yes.. thats a good reason to no activate...

I still feel that way sometimes after quitting, too. I started getting back into some old hobbies that I used to have. I think that overall, anything (even being bored) is better than WoW.

What's worse it that patch 2.4 is about to come out and my guild just kiled Vashj and Kael last week! I missed my chance at Hyjal/BT!! I guess I'll have to sell my account or delete my characters somehow...

I play WoW once in a while but I don't find myself getting addicted at all. I haven't played in a month or two and probably next time will play for a few hours and do the same thing again.

Stay strong man, I just canceled my account after about 2 years. It was becoming too much like work at level 70. Hopefully I can ignore the next expansion.

I do go to the gym. Here was my schedule:

5am: wake up and go to gym
7am: get ready for work
8-5pm: work
6-bedtime: play wow
bedtime-5am: sleep

rinse,repeat.

I had really high hopes for Dark and Light...but that really flopped. I am waiting for Diablo 3's announcement....cmooon blizzard!

Quitting WoW gave me time to catch up on TV... and join more intelligent forums 🙂

Most importantly, I started sleeping much better right away, and function much better at work than ever before. It took a while for the weird feeling to fade away, but has definitely been worth it.

this post makes no sence in 2.4 they are removeing the attunement to Hyjal and BT
