Whohoo! these things rock! They are 33 x 12.50 r16's and they have huge lugs. They are made for 4 wheeling, and 4 wheeling only. They have a 80 mph speed limit, and I doubt I would exceed that any time soon. They are insanely loud. at 40 mph it sounds like a jet engine. When I slow down from 65 (take my foot off gas ) it sounds like a jet engine turning off.
I bought 2 last may, and finaly picked up the other 2 and had them put on friday. here is a picture of one. Look at the fricking side lugs on those!
I wanted to test them out in mud, as I went to a comercial park kinda near my house and drove around in where they are doing some land reconstruction / modifing. there was a big 8" deep lake kinda thing ( big ass puddle ) that I went through. I stopped in the middle of it then stomped on it. ( in 2 wheel ) the tires doug a good 10" into the mud pretty much instantly, and threw mud rooster tails a good 50' behind me. They laughed at the mud and tossed my truck forward like I was on asphalt. My old Coopers and Michilans (I think that is what I had last ) would have spun and spun and spun till I was burried in the mud up to my floorboards. the bad thing is on the asphalt, they lack traction compaired to what I had last time. Use to much gas and they break loose. If it is wet, and sealcoated, forget it. I might as well be driving on ice. Did I mention they are loud?
I can't wait to try them in the snow!
