As well as senior member (which I have been stuck at for what seems like years!!)etc. , we should have ones like Master Assimilator or WU cruncher general or Senior Cow Catcher...

What do you think ???
Could the BBS software do it ???
I guess it would have to be linked to stats somehow...

This way, other Anandtecher's would see these titles, be overcome by jealousy, and be forced to start cracking for T.A. to gain one of these honours !!!

Not just linked to stats though as some of the members who work the hardest for the team haven't got the big work herds of certain people !! 😉
So there would have to be a voting type feature as well....

another option would be, like on our forum, show the number of workunits crunched by the member beneath his user pic and name on the left...

Yeah, we definitely need some kind of status symbol around here. It could be an incentive for people to work harder in order to obtain these special titles! 😉

I noticed the WU numbers by peoples nick when I 1st visited you ,I like that idea too 🙂 ,however here we would have to distinguish between the different projects
 
If the forums had this, I would have started cracking years ago, instead of one month ago.

It would be the a great way to attract new members to the team, however, it would be hard to deal with the separate projects, and the fact that many big contributors are part of mini-teams.

Still, I love the idea!

"Official" forum titles would be cool too. I think it would get some attention.
 
I have to agree, something like this would have opened my eyes a long time ago. Maybe just a title stating that your a Team Anandtech DC member or something with a link to the Team Anandtech page. I notice a lot of you guys have links in your sigs which send people to stats pages and so forth but not too many that give a link a page that describes the whole thing with descriptions of each available project.
 
This gets brought up like every 6 months and every 6 months Zuni Shoots it down, claiming "no customizations" as FuseTalk is a packaged product he supports, nothing goes on the TA forums that doesnt go on ALL the FuseTalk powered forums, sorry guys 🙁
 
Hehe, train...i think this should be added to the list of things that we should give you a nickel for each time it comes up 😉.

Both the Feds and Naked Crakers private forums have this option, (Free Forum Software from Snitz.com) for Example, on the Feds forums, Engineers Title is &quot;Vice Admiral&quot; and Heavy Iron is known as &quot;Chief Proxy Officer&quot; to name a few.
