I probably deserve to be slapped for posting this, but... I like Tori Amos <wince>

I havent listened to anything other than "Caught a Light Sneeze" which is a song that DELUX force-fed me, and now im really starting to like it. Sounds like a female Silverchair to me...

NO FLAMES UNTIL YOU LISTEN TO THE SONG (!!!) 😛

Hey, what's wrong with Tori Amos? 🙂 Caught a Light Sneeze isn't bad... Spark is also good.

I just listened to the song in question, and instead of flamming you, I'm just gonna say that everyone has their own music taste, which is too bad, because I would love to chew up tori amos.

I loved "Little Earthquakes" (her first disk) and liked "Under The Pink", but I HATED "Boys For Pele", the album with "Sneeze" on it. While that song was good, the rest was such self-indulgent faerie-dust crap, I never made it thru once. "Song From The Choirgirl Hotel" was a big improvement, but it really wasn't up to her old stuff. She went from ethereal to just plain flaky. Too bad. I gave up on her then.

She just had a baby a couple of weeks ago.

Her first album 'Little Earthquakes' is still her best in my opinion. Awesome. Particularly Crucify, Silent All These Years, Winter and Happy Phantom. Reminds me of Kate Bush's first two albums. 🙂
