To answer your question, yes you are. Watch me walk into a store when its released and pick it right up, like I always do.

I'm suprised it hasn't shown up in the zero-day groups, ID must have a really tight chain of command on this one.

I wonder how much longer they are going to milk the Doom franchise, because I am yawning.

Ok you're right, I'm gonna cancel my order right now. I'm not even excited to play it.

Try about a week, not three months.

Uhh... this is the first new Doom game since like 1994(?) and only the third in the series. I really don't see any milking.

And try "Who gives a fvck" about the interest on something like this. It's not like he was going to put it into the stock market until the game shipped. And even at any reasonable rate of interest, the return on $70 is what, $0.50 over a week?

Really? I heard it wasn't due out until October.

I think HL-2 has a unofficial October release date.

Yeah seriously, sounds just like another anti-pop trying to be cool and hating everything that's mainstream.

Yeah, but Doom basically turned into Quake. I really don't see how they can take the "lone marine travels through a maze like map killing monsters and bad guys" concept any further. In any event, they seem to be selling Doom 3 mostly on eye candy which bolsters my above point.

You can't charge accounts until the order ships legally anyway. So I'd hardly call it "borrowing."
