I plan on moving to India (Tamil Nadu). I'm going to get BSNL broadband at 2 Mbps, it has a 10 GB cap after which the speed is reduced to 256 Kbps. If I bring my PS3, how many hours of online gaming will 10 GB give me?

Gaming? Lets say your PS3 uses 10kB/sec average. Assuming you don't need to download anything/very little you're looking at 11.85 days of constant non-stop gaming. If you play even 8 hours a day (which would be a lot of gaming IMO) you would get about 35 days worth.

Even if you pass the 10GB cap 256kb/sec should be enough to play on.

yup, gaming doesn't use much bandwidth at all. just pray you don't have a lot of noise on your copper wire or the dsl will drop constantly.
