as some of u may know i have recently built a new computer,

amd athlon, 1 ghz, 266 fsb. but i didn't have much memory, or a good video card or a working modem. but i finally ordered them, i'm expecting them this week, since i ordered them over the weekend, i'm in school right now, and i found a way to get to the forums, i'm in grade 7, just some background info.

just keeping u guys posted, thanx for all the help u guys gave me.

i actually forgot but i think it was 256 pc150 memory. or something like that, maybe it was 512 pc133. well, i'll keep u updated.
 
to know I built my first computer at 13 and thought that was something pretty cool...and now we have a 7th grader doing it...wow. Congratulations on taking the leap, it's a good way to learn as much as you can about the machine, which will later on help you better understand hardware/software and pretty much everything else. I hope your build goes well and good luck!

well i did say i'd keep u updated, but the parts still haven't come, this also counts as a bump. and yet i'm back here in school.
 
the memory came, i ordered 2 256mb's pc 150, they sent 2 256mb's pc 166! HA!

all there is to go is the vid card, dvd-rom, and modem

5. Antec sx1030 case

all for a total of $715 shipped!

STill got a bunch to buy though...
