I only got 920 3dMarks?

From what some other people get... that sounds absurdly low... I must be doing something wrong.

I have a AMD 2100+ oc'd to 2700+, 512 Megs of DDR2700 from Crucial, and a GeForce3 Ti200. (But... for some reason, my fan doesn't always work on my graphics card)

but... that doesn't sound like i should only get 920... especially when I see some people here post scores of like.. 11,000. Oh yeah, I'm using 3dmark2003.

What's the deal?

According to this you should be getting around 8000 with your setup in 3dmark 2001se. My guess is you're running 2003... 😀

yeah, it's 3dmark2003... does that make a big difference?

I don't think there's that many people, if any, doing 11,000 with 3dmark 2003... the scores i see a lot are 4000-6000+ with top P4s and 9700/9800 Pros. 3dmark 2001se is where you see all those 11,000-15,000s... 🙂

What about my AXP 1700+ w/ GeForce2 MX200 w/384 mb PC2100? What can I expect with 3DMark 2k1 and 2k3?

I would say you'll get about 5000 - 7000 depending on a few things in 3dmark2k1, under 1000 in 2k3. 2003 is only meant for dx9 cards such as the newer radeons or geforce fx.

my score: 2511 🙁 boo for 3dmark2003

p.s. if you are dumb and leav your settings to forced aa/af then you will get a low score. when setting everything back to application prefereance, my score comes in at 3987 🙂 seems to be on par/slighly above other systems with exact specs

soo.... with your PC I believe you have to get more than mine

They ought to multiply the 3Dmark2003 scores by ten to make us feel better! This is an outrage, haha.
