I once asked for the ATOT Effect

EDITED FOR THE GRAMMAR NAZIS AND ILLITERATE (what an oxymoron)

I made a thread last summer asking for the ATOT effect. The University of South Florida, which I attend as an undergraduate student, e-mailed a survey to everyone in the student newsletter. The survey was on our choice for which restaurant should go in our new student union building: Moe's Southwestern Grill, or Taco Bell. It turns out I mistakingly requested the ATOT effect, as they disagreed with me; ATOT voted Taco Bell unanimously here. This baffled me, as a custom Google Map I posted in the thread clearly illustrates that there are two Taco Bell's within walking distance of our campus.

Well, Taco Bell won, by a landslide. Someone responsible for the construction of the student union must have thought that was stupid. I imagine his thought process proceeded as follows: "Stupid college kids, we're going to close it (Taco Bell) at 5 anyways, just like all the other stupid places to eat on campus. Plus, all the food here is usually marked up. Taco Bell that isn't cheap, or open till the wee hours of the morning, is no longer Taco Bell. Fuck it boys, build a Moe's." I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8, and I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later'. I looked at my kingdom; I was finally there, to sit on my throne, as the Prince of Bel Air.

HOW'S IT TASTE MOTHAFUCKA?

My attempt to translate:

I think his conclusion was they built a Moe's anyways despite the vote. I can't tell if he's blaming the ATOT effect for making it look fishy or what.

That sounds like when they had an online vote to approve or disapprove of a new athletic fee. ($80/semester)

The students voted NO. 87% to 13%.....3 months later, the paperwork was completed and the fee was added by the following year.

Yeah, I don't know what we have to do with this. I don't even remember the thread.

Who would vote yes to more fees?

Cliff Notes:

1. My uni puts out poll for new restaurant on campus in the new student union
2. I post to ATOT, request ATOT effect for Moe's since campus restaurants usually close early. Taco Bell isn't useful unless they're open until 4 AM.
3. ATOT votes Taco Bell.
4. Taco Bell wins in a landslide.
5. USF decides to build a Moe's anyways.

Stupid? That doesn't even come close to how ignorant the OP sounds......suck it? How's it taste, MF'er? He got what he asked for.....the ATOT effect....and the school admin. did what they wanted to do anyway......and his OP sounds like he's blaming the ATOT effect for the results.

The OP needs to learn how to write coherently. Oh, he's in college....that explains why his OP makes absolutely no sense......

Had a homewrecker today. It was great this time.

It makes me feel real spatial when I'm welcomed by all of the employees at moes. I wonder if they do that at the busy ones.
