now all i need to know is will it help the stability in my system abit kt7 raid

controls input/output voltage

<sorry, couldn't resist>

the only practical advantage of upping I/O voltage I'ves seen so far is that it greatly helps with overclocking a 5500, but greatly increases geometry errors in the GTS's I've owned.

Chipset, PCI slots, AGP slots, DIMM slots. Default is 3.3 volts. ASUS motherboards automatically come with a default setting of 3.5 volts, slightly higher than what it is supposed to be.

Better motherboards let you increase the IO Voltage to either 3.5 volts or 3.6 volts.
