just to save some confusion, it's actually an I/O Magic cd-rw, not an Iomega... nice find though! I have one of the drives, and it was actually a rebaged Aopen. Can't do SD2, but it's fast, has really great DAE, and very, very frequent firmware updates... good stuff!

sort of repost of my thread here
and most important the 2 cyber products are using the same rebate. You are going to lost one or both if you send them in!

better use the 15$ off $75 coupon and got yourself final price of $54.99 final price.

BTW, i got mind today and its a Lite-On. :)

This is actually more like $77.96 Shipped.

The $44.99 price is only attainable after all rebates come in, 8-10 weeks later, if you're lucky.

If I'm not mistaken, (sorry for the post if I am) The canned air wants your original receipt too. be sure your willing to give that up for this deal.

As I recall the last time I tried to get the Belkin canned air, the rebate required the UPC which was part of the can itselft, so I would have needed tin snips to excise it. Hopefully they've cleaned up their act, since I'm not likely to go through the entire can within the rebate period unless I decide I try to blow the fuzz out of my ears.

rebate of CDRW drive and speaker OR microphone both require org. receipt.
The canned air need copy and UPC is easy to get off (just paper wrap around can, the glue is not under UPC label)

However, the canned air rebate said 10-12 weeks! remember, its from the date they process.

There are 3 different manufactures for this drive. Aopen, Acer, and if you're real lucky, Liteon. I got one and it was a rebadged Acer. Good drive and it does do SD2. Haven't burned a coaster yet.

In all fairness lsman posted a similar thread here before mine :).

When I orginally posted this I had it listed as an Iomega CD-RW drive. I did a search & did not yield any hits on "Iomega" (for this particular drive).

I appologize to Isman I wasn't trying to dupe anything he had posted.

Also, I did not get this deal from "SlickDeals"? Although I will add that site to my list. :D

what did you search to find the coupon code? I can't seem to find it for the $25 off of $100.....or the 15 off of 75....
Maybe I'm just blind.....

Has anyone figured out a way to use eBates and an OfficeMax coupon together?

I have only been able to user one or the other but not both.

Thanks

This trick applies to all websites which have click through coupons (Buy.com, CDNow.com, etc.) and are members of eBates:
1) Click the coupon and add all your items to your cart.
2) Open a new web browser window (do not close the first window, leave it alone) and go to www.ebates.com, login, go to Office and select OfficeMax.
3) You should see the eBates ad banner at the top with OfficeMax underneath that. Click cart, proceed to check out as usual.

If you do everything correctly you can use both the $25 off $100 coupon AND get your 4% eBates.

use the coupon first, add items to cart, login, leave this open.
Open another browser and go to ebates, from link go to OM, login and buy at this browser. (and optional: free bad about spending time here and pretend you get a good deal till you get you CC statement, or think about the ways to explain it to your husband/wife/gf/bf why upgrade from a 16X to a 24X means so important to u :) )
close the first browser.
