I am trying to update the bios on an ECS K7s5a with no luck. I tried to create an MS Dos bootbale floppy through Windows XP. Every time I try to format the disk I get this error: "An unexpected I/O error has occured".
When I try and save the bios update onto a 3.5, I get this error message: "Cannot copy...The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error".
This is a new disk drive. I have tried changing the ribbon cable, but I am still getting the same error messages. Thanks.
