I/O Backplate

Anyone know where to get a new IO backplate/shield? I got a motherboard but I don't have the right backplate for it.

Call or email the motherboard mfg, or better yet the place you bought it from.

Ya I emailed the company already. I just didn't know if there was someplace online that sold different types of shields.

Well, it's gonna be $4 for the plate. Is it just me or does that seems a bit high for a stamped out piece of Alum.?

How come you didn't get the right one with your motherboard?

Just email the mobo company, see if they'll send you one.

Mobo is a refurb from newegg. That $4 is from the company, ASROCK. The board is nice and everything works on it, just no backplate.

Actually, I think it's steel. 😛
So it should be even cheaper than aluminum. But as with any "specialty item", it's always going to be a bit expensive.
