I like French press the best, but they are the worst to clean.

I don't think it's so much of a bother. I guess it's the fact that you HAVE to clean it out everytime. I dump out the grounds into the garbage and then rinse it out. I put a squirt of dish soap into the carafe, fill partly with hot water, and then I work the press up and down until it overflows with creamy suds. Pour out, rinse, let dry. I rarely take the filter assembly apart to clean. At most I may loosen it to flush out the grounds.

The one I bought 'durum' is about as easy as it gets. Wash out the glass 'jar', rinse out the filter/plunge (I usually sponge with soap), done. Cost 20 bucks at the grocery story, feels decently made, makes a liter = :thumbsup:
