Dear Matt155,

Contrary to one of the subsequent posts in this thread, I am pleased to report that I am indeed a representative of Newegg.com. To clarify, however, the Newegg.com webmaster is not a single individual, but rather a contingent of web developers, programmers and support agents.

It is disconcerting to learn of the trouble you have encountered while attempting to complete your RMA, so to expedite resolution I have been authorized to supply -- within this forum -- a direct contact for you to communicate with. Your satisfaction is our number one priority so on behalf of the company I offer my sincere apologies for any inadvertent inconvenience.

I urge you to call or email William Lazaro at your earliest convenience so that we may rectify this situation as swiftly as possible. We look forward to working with you to achieve a solution you will be comfortable with.

Kindest regards,
Newegg.com Webmaster

Once you know, you Newegg.

I have actually dealt with William with an RMA I had. He took care of the problem right away and to my complete satisfaction. I can say without any reservation, newegg.com is a class organization. I do not hesitate to refer anyone I know there.

It doesn't surprise me. I bet that many companies have names registered for themselves on a lot of tech forums.

Depends what you get, obviously no one place would have the best prices on everything... Also have to keep in mind Newegg routinely charges $2-$5 for 2-3 day FedEx while many other online stores want $10+ for UPS ground. Personally, unless something is a LOT cheaper elsewhere, I buy at Newegg even if their price is a few $$ above someone else's. Knowing beyond the shadow of a doubt that my merchandise will arrive in 2-3 days and that any problems I may have with it will be taken care of quickly is worth a few bucks easily.

Love newegg - only place i shop unless they are out of stock - like the coolermaster cm stacker. Was about to buy from them but they were out - so I had to buy somewhere that uses normal shipping instead of newegg's patent teleport shipping =/

Good to know we have someone to turn to =)

My most recent newegg experience...

One of my hard drives is slowly dying (clunking sound, lockups, etc.), so last night I ordered a new one from newegg with 2 day shipping & rush processing, hoping it would ship today and I could get it by Thursday. Well, they ended up shipping it just a few hours after I put in the order and it'll be here tomorrow. :D

i had a problem with them before. It took them almost 2 weeks to solve my problems after receiving my product. I RMA my motherboard and cpu but they said they only received the motherboard. I put the cpu in the motherboard socket. It took them 2 weeks to get everything straight out.

I hate to say it but... That was stupid. They ship it to you in two boxes, you ship it back in two boxes. 'Snot that hard.

Yeah, if you bought a book and a CD from amazon and then returned them, you wouldn't put the CD between the pages of the book and expect them to find it.

It's an oem cpu and i don't have the box. But it took them 2 weeks just to locate my motherboard?
so it's my fault for putting it in there but that's the safest spot for it.
