I never realized how small the Nano actually is..

I just opened the Nano I bought for my dad so I could load some music on it for him.

I thought it was just a really thin Ipod, but this thing is like a pack of chickletes.

My dad is on a plane about once a week so I think he'll get a lot of use out of it.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed.

Agreed, it's really hard to visualize how tiny without actually seeing it in person or holding it.

I got to use my friend's nano for a few days. I'm seriously thinking of getting one soon.
 
Anyone have a pic of it so I can see exactly how small it is compared to other things? I am thinking of picking one up for my wife tomorrow.
 
I know exactly what you mean. Until I saw someone actually holding it in their hand, I had no idea how small it was.

You can tell by how tall it is in comparison with its width....
 
Ya I was really surprised at how small it is when I first held it in my hands. Buy a case for it RIGHT AWAY and do not take off the plastic thing until you get a case you can put it in. My nano got scratches on it by just wiping it with a microfiber cloth 🙁 Its NEVER EVER coming out of its case. BTW check out the core cases aluminum case, I have one and love it.

The batteries in my camera died but if you line up 3 1/2 quarters tall by 1 1/2 quarters wide and 4 quarters thick, you'll get about the exact dimensions.

The new generation of Ipods are bigger and thicker than the nano, yet smaller than the previous generation of Ipods. Eventually, we will get to the point of the iFlea.
