I never felt so American this weekend. Shot AK47, M4, various side arms, etc.

According to my friend who owns all these guns, we shot:

At least 500 or more rounds of ammo. .22LR, 9mm, .357, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, .223, 300 AAC Blackout, 7.62x39, 12GA target and 1oz slugs

AR15 (x3), AK47, Glock (x3), Sig Sauer (x2), Mossberg shotgun (x2), Ruger SR22, Para 45, Tech 9, Henry Lever action .22LR rifle

I had the most fun with shotguns. CHA-SCHIK, BAM!

Someday I'd like to shoot some guns again.

In college I signed up for an ROTC class of sorts where we got to shoot some small rifles and shotguns and learned to read maps. They kicked me out though when someone found out I hadn't actually joined the Army. I kinda just wanted to try it out for a while and see if I liked it before making any commitments.

Now my wife won't let me have a gun.

shotguns are my fave too. my friend has a double barrel with separate triggers that is fun to shoot clay pigeons with.

Other countries eh? well I can't discharge a weapon legally except at a range $$, how is that fair? Why should I have to go to a licensed range to fire my legally acquired firearms. I can't even fire a BB or Pellet gun. Where are my 2nd amendment rights!? Whats up with these laws curtailing my second amendment rights!

It is indeed a lot of fun. Glad you had a good time! I wanna get to the range soon. Only bad thing about shooting is having to clean the guns. I went from faithfully cleaning them right after every range visit to now cleaning them after every 4 visits, about. I probably didn't need to clean them as much as I did but now I find it hard to do it. F'ing laziness.

Because the freedom granted is NOT unlimited under the 2A or anything in the Constitution.

For example, you can not just stand outside in public and scream "let kill all members of this group or that group" and then claim your right to advocate violence is protected under 1A or yell "fire" in a crowded movie theater and expect no consequence.

Just saying (just in case you were being serious).
