I NEF, therefore, I...

My damned mainboard died, but look on the bright side, its still under warranty. I get to find out first hand how well Newegg's service is. Hopefully, they'll say "Yep, its fried, it can't be fixed, and we have none of these boards available for replacement. We'll give you credit ($83.00) towards any board we have in stock."

Hey, there's nothing wrong with a little optimism! 😀

Going on three days now without a computer. I was experiencing withdrawal so I went 20 miles to my sister's house to use her computer. haha

I just upgraded the hell out of it so its nicer than mine! Maybe I'll stay for a couple days....

Damn....and I came in here all ready to give you a vacation....😛

My puter's been giving me fits as well.

Not sure if it's the M/B or one of the CPU's, but it's driving me NUTS'O.

No BSOD, just lock-up's for no apperant reason.

Time to get rid'o the P3's and go AMD I guess.......

Hope your's is up and running again soon..

Newegg is excellent about RMA's. I ruturened 3 yes three MSI kt333's which had bad sound and they no questioned asked credited my CC.

Another board I had Shuttle AK31 I fried after 8 months and they credited my CC because they did'nt have a replacement alvailable instock anymore.

I don't know how they survive selling to destructive mofo's like me🙂

I have a question. I bought a Liteon CDR from Newegg. And it's been more than 30 days since the purchase. And it breaks down out of the blue recently.

Am I screwed? What do I do now? Can Newegg RMA it or...? How about the manufacturer?

Hmm, speaking of which, there is a bottle of Beaujolais in the fridge...I wonder if my sister will mind? haha

Or did you mean "whine"?

This board was in full retail packaging, so as the end user I get the full 1 year warranty. I don't know how OEM/bulk stuff would work, but if your drive was retail, Newegg will fix you up.

This was great timing, the board is 11 months old. I had a Western Digital HDD start making that ominous 'clickety-grind' noise a while ago, so I hopped on WDC's website and checked the warranty status via the drive serial #. There were only 5 (five) days left on the warranty!

Timing is everything. haha
