I need your input: which do you like better, color or BW?

Just finished a photo op. And I can't decide. I love the beautiful colors of the seasonal blooms, but B&W is dramatic as always.

Normally I prefer B&W, but these look kind of washed out. For these specific pics, I prefer the color.

Yeah, I was going for the 'high contrast' B&W look for this set. The subjects are my clients.

The first two look soft/out of focus. Not the artsy kind of way either, just out of focus.

Like the others, I prefer the color much more over the the b&w. Agree that the b&w ones just look washed out.

If the B&W had more contrast I think it would actually look better then the colour, the way it is now tho the colour ones look better.

FWIW the pic with the dog, the dogs head and the woman's face are both out of focus on that one too. Looks like the dog turned it's head at the last second.

The focal point seems to be the guy's face in that pic, looks sharp. Maybe she moved too at the last second.

I set the aperture too low. For couple pics, you're supposed to use f4-7. I stuck it at f1.8 from her solo portrait.

Then I feel no shame in saying I'd let her ride my vanilla gorilla. ^_^

I like the first and third shots in colour. Especially the first with the blossoms in the background. I like the contrast of the second one in BW better though.
