Hey people I am in need of some RF experts help .
here is the situation my school has some stupid remote things to take attendance and participation points .
The system CAN BE SEEN HERE .
What I am wondering is if anyone can determine anything about it from the numbers on the back
which are
FCC ID: R4WRCRF01
ACN 107 654 697
IC: 5994A-RESCARD
What I need to know is what frequency range this thing is running on and if it can be jammed . Any help would be appreciated .
On another note these remote things suck because
1. they do not allow you to miss class
2. they do not allow you to sleep during class
3. I hate them
EDIT:
I have dissasembled it and taken a pic HERE
Now the picture is blurry but the white text on the top says
Responsive
Innovations
RCRF-01 ( does that mean anything???)
Ver 2.0A
And the main chip running to the antenna reads
nordic
nRF24E1G
AD0521
Hopefully that helps more .
*Update*
Phisrow found the operating range HERE
And it turns out these things operate on a standard 2.4 ghz band . Just like portable phones wireless video camers and some WIFI .
So their are pleny of jammers out there they are just EXPENSIVE
Anyone know of a cheaper solution ???
EVEN More
THIS ONE BLOCKS EVERYTHING for 445 bucks
