But I really don't want to use ebay. Does anyone know if there are places that buy restaurant grade stuff like this? This was one of those purchases where someone thought they knew what they were doing but didn't have a clue. And for once that person wasn't me!

I found a listing for a free -80 C freezer a few years back. Free...so long as you could pick it up and transport it out of and away from the 15-story building in downtown Chicago.

Sure, sell it. I'm just saying you can find lots of things on CL, and many people looking for such things. You live in a big city, or nearby? that would largely determine your success with CL.
