I can't believe the high today was 83 degrees. It's December 11 the last time I checked. How can anyone get into the Christmas spirit with this kind of weather. I am used to cold Michigan winters. Damn, I need to move out of FL.

Well when I was in the Bay Area I would just hope into my car, cruise to the coast , head on over to the Crows Nest and have myself a Christmas MaiTai. Put me in the Christmas spirit in no time at all. A few Oysters didn't hurt either
Well your not missing much up here in Michigan. This has been the mildest winter I've seen in a long time. We haven't even got any snow yet. Couple of days ago we had highs near 60.
I was driving to work this afternoon sweating because the car was an oven when I got in...had the AC on full blast while Christmas carols were playing on the radio. Had to walk around campus for errands and was starting to sweat.
I AM TRYING TO GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT, D@MNIT!
Plus I had bought a nice new jacket with a GC I got for my birthday and I don't think I'll be able to use it
u guys are lucky, u guys don't have to walk outside with a -30 or worse (Celsius mind you) wind blowing in your face, sitting on your stone cold car seat waiting for the icebox engine to warm up.

Heh, and here I am in MI bitching about how cold it is and how I wish I was back in FL...wanna trade?
OMg - I'm in panama City, and 62 degrees (today's high) is freezing! But then - I used to live in the Country of Panama, so I'm used to warm weather. I love christmas without coldness and snow. It rocks. I also hate the time change and how dark it is getting.... By the time I go to work at 4:30, it's already dark. It's really depressing.
Texas weather sucks too, there is no winter because it can be high of 40's for a while, then the next week it will be in the 70's and humid. The summers are getting hotter every year and the weather is getting more screwy in general. I'm moving, weather is one of the most underrated features of a place that determines quality of life.
We're getting hella snow in the mountains. We had about a foot a few weeks ago but it's all melted, but we're supposed to get majorly dumped on thursday and friday, and i'm going skiing saturday
Even after being here for six years it's still hard to get into the Christmas Spirit in SW FL! I'll be flying up to Ohio for the Holidays so at least I'll get one week of cold and snow.
dang...wish i were in florida right now...not for the season tho, maybe a week
i'm in salt lake city right now..and its freezing...not as cold as NYC tho...not yet anyway...hehe
I missed snow until I actually had to go out and do something in the cold! I was in KC, last year, on a business trip and the first few days it was cold. Then it rained and the rain FROZE all over the car. I was locked out of the car it was a solid sheet of ice. After that I've been very happy with 80deg winter weather in S.Florida. Although, I'd like a few days of low 70's to get me in that holiday spirt!
