Pinto beans, soaked in water overnight, then simmered for several hours. They make very fine burritos.

Pinto beans simmered for many hours with salt pork and onions rule. Serve it up with collards, brisket, and cornbread and you are all set. Forget refrying them.

When the beans are prepared in the proper way there is no fart. That is the reason you soak the beaks over the night to let the gasses escape. My beans are not makers of stinky farts.
