I need to get organized

What do all of you use to keep track of whats needs to be done and such? I am looking for some type of calender program that will let me enter events in so that they show up on a weekly basis and such. The only program that I think does this is Outlook. Are there any other programs that are more standalone planners? Thanks for any suggestions.

I use pencil and paper and make a good old check list.

If i wanna go digital i just write it down in notepad.exe lol
