I need to get an unlocked GSM phone

My cingular phone is no bueno at the moment.
I need an unlocked GSM phone, or a phone that works on Cingular's network. Clearly ebay is the obvious choice but I've pretty much heard that Nigerian scammers bid on phones so frequently that most winning bids are above their reasonable $$ value. Anyone got a site?

buy an audiovox smt5600. it's an awesome smartphone and you can unlock it yourself to work on any provider.

I have bought about 5 phones in the last 3 months from ebay all at very reasonable prices. Just keep a watch on a few phones on ebay and wait and see where the prices go.

You can get any phone unlocked, it's just a matter of finding the software/service to do it. I mailed my old Moto v505 off to a place in Washington and had it unlocked and back in a week.
