I need to fax a scanned document-any way to do that on a cable modem?

I need to send out a scanned document to a fax machine-anybody know if there is anyway this can be done considering I have a cable modem? Is there some kind of online web service or software that will perform this?

Efax is one. Haven't used them but I think there's like a $10 monthly fee or something.

Do you have a regular modem that can dial the recipient's fax machine directly?

Yeah, I didnt even think of that. I havent used a dial-up modem in a few years.
