I need to export ALL my firefox settings

i want my new lappy to have all the same data as my work computer, is there a way to do this easily?

Copy \Documents and Settings\[User]\Application Data\Mozilla to the same place on your laptop.

Not necessarily. The profile could be in any number of places, though that one is the most likely.

Copy that folder, and then reinstall Firefox. It should automatically add the profiles to the profile manager. If it does not, then launch profile manager, hit add, and then manually navigate to where you put the folders. They'll work then.

I used to use MozBackup for that. Not sure if it is still kept up to date, though, since I've been using Google Browser Sync instead lately (which might do it too, mine is just set for bookmarks...).

Google Browser Sync is awesome. Encrypted to/from Google, I keep my bookmarks, sessions and cookies sync'd across 4 computers.
