I need to buy the biggest chocolate bar ever!

My Google skills are failing me, but I'm in the market for a brick of chocolate. We're talking Fort Knox size bricks or bigger only. It's more a novelty and I love chocolate so I'm willing to take months to finish it off. I am also willing to settle for alternator sized chocolate chunks, but would really prefer a big brick or block of milk chocolate in the 20+ lb range.

Anyone have any experience in dealing with and buying chocolate bars in this size?

Hmm maybe something like that. And though I'm willing to settle for alternator sized, someone here told me about a place that sells 50lb chocolate bricks. For a dining table center piece with occasional nibbling, I don't think those little 10lb bricks will cover it.

It seems like you would be better off just buying 50 pounds, or whatever size you want, of chocolate however its cheapest and than just heat it up and pour it into a cake mold to cool.

Email Hershey. maybe they will donate.

No occasion, I just have the desire to get the biggest block of chocolate I can find. I'm looking at the vermontchocolate and might get a few of those then use a big tin like those used in cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving and melting them all into that. Then once it cools turning it over and peeling the foil off of it. That might work.

Consider a 50 lb peter

Good finds everyone, I guess I've needed to be searching for chocolate coating blocks. That brings up lots of hits for those big 50 lb bars of chocolate. I'm not sure what this "coating" thing is, but I figure chocolate is chocolate.

I'm not looking for something that big but I need a goofy big one to give to girl has a cool joke. Like 5lbs that they sell at major stores would be good. Thanks

I have a feeling those are for making fancy chocolate dipped stuff. So, the chocolate is intended for bakeries or whatever who make chocolate coated food or fruit. A 50 lb. block is just a bulk way for them to get it. I've seen those little chocolate disks used for this stuff, and those are in the same category.
