i need to build a new rig

I am looking for some tips on putting together a new puter...I already have a nice burner, hard drive, video card, and cd rom....what i need is a new motherboard, processor and case. I am looking to keep it around 300-400 for all....any tips?

well you might want to check out the for sale/trade forums on Anandtech. Guys there are pretty well versed and mostly can give better deals than stores if you don't mind used or refurbished etc stuff. Most people on there are reasonably trustworthy so you don't have to worry too much. Otherwise you can always keep up with this forum I'm sure you'll find what you need, or some bargin sites like techbargins, and xpbargins... just add a .com and www. to those...
