I need an image of a CD made with this command:
dd bs=512 if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/cdrw-device

Will PP the entire contents of my account (like 67 cents) for this little favor. You'd better have some decent upstream, too, because dev/urandom doesn't compress well.

I need at least a dollar. Gotta cover the price of media and postage plus my time. Unless you want to mail me a cd-r.

nonono, I mean just burn the damn thing to a CDRW or something and then make me an image of it. I don't need the physical disk, I can do that much.

Knoppix can't do this for you? It should be a lot faster if you can, just mount one of your HD partitions and skip the whole burning a cd part.

Just off the top of my head here, so I don't know how viable these options are:

You can look into gentoo CDs. They are meant to help you set up Gentoo, but I know the bootstrap your system and provide a command prompt. Perhaps dd is included. They have CDs for all sorts of hardware.

I've always used Tom's root boot for the dd command. No clue if it'll boot any of your machines though.

I have a linux machine and a CDRW, but I don't have the bandwidth. Otherwise, I'd be all over those 67 cents.
