I ended up just doing a clean install. This is my first solid state hard drive and all I have to say is holy mo fo'in shizzle this thing fast!!! I'll be hard pressed to ever have a mechanical hard drive as my primary again!

Now I just need a 512gb for all my games lol.

I'm doing the same thing at the moment... I'm migrating from my 64GB primary drive to my new 256GB drive. I decided to do a clean install as well... it's a pain in the pahookie, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.

If you keep only windows and a couple of apps its not so bad. I hated when I had everything on my mechanical drive and it needed formatting.

I have everything split between the 64GB and a HDD... My intentions are to roll it all up on the bigger SSD.

When I migrated from my adata s599 128gb to my 256 gb samsung 840 pro I used acronis to move to the larger drive. It handled the partitioning so I didn't have to do a clean install.
