I need some serious opinions on why it looks like someone else has logged into eBay on my comp.......

I came home this evening and hopped onto the computer to check email and whatnot. One of the things I wanted to do was check for some items on eBay, so I went to the site like usual. I typically keep myself logged in, so it will always "Welcome back blurredvision81!" at the top, and gives the little link to click if that's not you.

Well, tonight, it said, "Welcome back scse_ebiz!". What the fvck?? Who the hell is this? I searched for the name, and it's someone that's been a member for almost 4 years from California. I live in Kentucky. This member only has 25 feedback, but no negatives, and has dealt as recently as 3 weeks ago.

I checked my browser history, and there's no records of previous entry of eBay's various pages besides what I've looked at tonight. Can anyone shed some light on this? It's got me kind of worried, as I've never had something like this happen before. The computer is properly firewalled via the router, and I've not suffered any other ill effects with my computer in the past 3 months since I've done a fresh install.

Make sure remote desktop is disabled and change your login password for that computer.

It says that because you clicked on a link* (probably here) that had that ID within the link. You're not actually signed is as that person.

*You know the ones, they say something like "OMGWTF Look at this ebay auction!!!111"

i hope you're right. Otherwise, I'd check for spyware and reset passwords to all my online accoutns that have anything to do with money, like paypal, bank and ebay.

Why? He has a router, so all he has to do is check the log. If it's cool, then don't worry about it.

Check the ebay message boards. If I remember correctly, the problem is just a harmless glitch.
