I'm sick of listening to the same songs over and over. And I have a ton of MP3s....but I listen to trance non-stop every day, so I need some new songs.

Try this:

Gabriel & Dresden's remix of Way Out West's "Mindcirus"
Way Out West's remix of Paul Oakenfold's "Diving Faces"
Way Out West's remix of ST. Etienne's "Angel"
Ferry Corsten's remix of Way Out West's "The Gift"
Way Out West's "Enlightenment"
Way Out West's "Stealth"
Way Out West's "The Fall"

Also check out Sasha's "Wavy Gravy"

I can't stand Astral Projection, yet many people seem to like it.
It's so generic and uneventful.. same stuff over and over. Yet it's not even mellow or relaxing like Ministry of Sound chillout sessions, ATB, etc... it's just bland.. ugh.

I'm definitely Paul Oakenfold's biatch

The most relaxing trance I've heard is Red Jerry's "Deep and Chilled Euphoria, Parts 1 & 2." (Each mp3 is over 100MBs.)

Isn't the whole trance thing starting to wane? I dunno, I haven't heard much that I liked lately other than compilations from Global Underground, Van Dyk, Oakenfold etc...

haha i despise paul oakenfold, but the funny thing is it took me about 18 months to get into stuff like astral projection and stuff because it IS expremely repetitive, but having listened to it enough times there are MANY subtle melodies/counter melodies and rhythms/counter rhythms that i only have picked up on it now, but newho no offense but oakenfold...well...sucks and is REALLY dull, at least to me

no offense (really) but I find Astral Projection utterly boring and GENERIC. Even look at the titles: Searching for UFOs, Still on Mars.. ugh.

Oakenfold was cool like, but I don't actually like him. IMO Tiesto is a much better DJ, both live and recorded.

BT's name is synonymous with trance. One thing that proved to me that he did not just recycle his old music was that every time he came out with a new album, it took me at least two weeks to get used to his new sound. But I always ended up really liking his new albums. BT knows how to reinvent himself!!!

Then in you want some very relaxing music, Chicane is your guy. Unfortunately (to my knowledge) he has only come out with two albums so far...
