i need some memory help

I just recently upgraded my current PC to a shuttle SN95G system with an Athlon 64 3500+ and want to upgrade to 1gig of RAM but dont know what to get.

I currently have 2x 256Mb sticks of XMS3000 which is rated at 333Mhz.
I know i need to get 2 sticks of PC3200 to run in dual channel and would prefer to get Corsair if at all possible but im not sure about what timings to get.

I have recently sold my current memory so i can put that money towards the new stuff so i need some help deciding what to do.

Get one stick of 512MB Corsair XMS-3200XL DDR RAM and one later. I have heard issues of XL memory running at 2,2,2,5 so i dont want to risk buying it when i can almsost get 1GB of cas2.5 value select instead.

I dont overclock if that makes the decision but im just worried the XL modules wont work and even if they do im worried the performance over 'value select' will be very minimal.

Ideas, suggestions?

I use 2 512 XL modules and @ stock FSB and CPU speeds 2-2-2-5 work just fine. I did have to up the mem voltage to 2.8 for it to be 100% stable though. Now I run @ DDR440 2-3-3-6@2.8 volts 100% stable. I have no issues what so ever with this memory at these settings.
