Should I try to sell this? This was an Hp. The first power supply went bad, so it got a new case and power supply.
ATX case with 250 watt power supply
AMD-K6 3D Processor(333mhz) Intel MMX Technology, and state that it can be overclocked to 500-520mhz
62MB Ram
SIS 5597 onboard video
SIS 5598 mobo w/3 pci slots
7.46GB hard drive
no floppy, no cd drive

or

should I overclock it to 500-520mhz myself and put a 52x cd and floppy drive in it, more ram(96mb)
Help me out, what do you guys think?
I also have a Compaq 15inch monitor that I am thinking of including

You mentioned it has onboard video, so very likely the 62MB reading is because it is using shared RAM for video memory. I have seen some Compaqs do this also, Windows will show the amount that is free to the OS.

usually you hear about the system going down one mb not 2 so that sounds a little strange.
To answer your question is there a sister or relative that could use the computer. I built my sister a computer out of parts from my old computer. Or should I say she paid for my upgrade without knowing about it. You got a pretty fansy rig now it looks like so i'd say sell it.

Did you oc clock your new rig at all?

Actually this is my sisters old one, I built her a new one. Funny you said that. I haven't overclocked it because I can't get into the damn bios. I have tried delete, F8,F4, esc, nothing works. Help!
