Ok i just put togerther a new rig so i decided to oc my 165. If i set my fsb to 270, my computer boots. Then if i go right back into the bios and i set to 290 it boots again and i get into windows. It was prime stable for about 2 hours, i haven't done 12 or 24 hours yet. when i turn it off for the night tho, in the morning when i turn it on it wont boot. i turn it off and on again and the bios tells me there was an overclock error. i change my fsb back to 270, boot then change back to 290 again an it boots now into windows again with everything working stable. So whats the problem???
The opty is running on 1.4V and temps are idle=32C-33C load=39C-40C
Also on the side note since i have watercooling i wouild think i could get my opty at higher speeds, but my first core fails prime65 at 300fsb (2.7ghz) any ideas?
Thnx for the help guys
