I Need some help with SETI

Ok I got the newest seti version, and the newest deti driver version. I run seti driver and it opens the normal SETi exe and the little happy graph animation, and then seti driver locks up. I dont know whats goin on with it.. Any pointers?

SETI Driver is meant to be used with the command line version of SETI@Home, not the GUI version. SETI Driver's purpose is to act as a GUI for the command line so it's easier to set the options you want. If you are running the GUI version (the one with all the graphs) of SETI@Home then there is no reason to use SETI Driver. You will, however, have slower work unit times than if you used the command line client and SETI Driver.

zShowtimez,
Just be aware that v3.03 of the SETI client has a potential security flaw in it. The latest SETI client, v3.08 for Windows can be found here. V3.08 fixes the flaw.
V3.03 is faster than v3.08 though. If you want to use v3.03 you might want to read this thread to see how to secure your system.

Yeah use v3.03 ,the fix only takes 30 secs🙂 (or there abouts😉)

The CLI version is about 25% faster than the GUI one ,& thats if the GUI was optimised
