First this not my system so my responses may be delayed. I have been helping a friend over the phone and it should work by golly.
Anyhow here is the deal. Desktop machine at his home has dial up connection running windows 2000. Laptop machine running windows xp and using wireless networking. The network is set up and working as far as file sharing and printer sharing. He said he right clicked on the dial up networking icon and set it for sharing. He said he couldn't find a internet connection sharing wizard. When he goes to his laptop it tries to dial out using his laptop modem. He said he has his laptop set to never dial out and has the lan settings to automaticly detect settings.
