I need some GF4 VIVO help

I got a Gainward GF4 a few days ago and cannot get the VIVO to capture video. I have downloaded the latest drivers from the Nvidia website and tried reinstalling them to no avail. I am running XP Pro and whenever I select the card as my record source it says the device is already in use or does not recognise the output from my device. I am hooking it up to the composite video out of a VCR. I have searched around various places and have seen a couple others with this problem but no solutions have been presented. Anybody have any ideas? TIA...
