I just got far cry yesterday. It's pretty fun so far. Yeah I know I'm like 2 years behind the times. I did play doom 3 when it came out, even though it totally sucked.

Played Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay? That was one of the few new games that hooked me until the end.
I need a 360 for Oblivion? Could've sworn I racked up 100+ hours in that before it got old.
And no, I will not be purchasing an xBox 360. Ever. Consoles have become an overpriced, political pile of crap that offer no practical advantages over PC other than being able to plant your ass on a couch, but many, many practical disadvantages for the expense.

oh, and what about icewind dale? maybe serious sam? a little old school, but both very enjoyable.
Didn't like Icewind for some reason. SS1 and SS2 rock the world, but only at LAN parties.

I don't see that you have much option aside from multiplayer games. WoW, EQ2, etc.

Yeah, but I have 4 days left until the semester starts, gf is on vacation, friends are on vacation, I'm off work. I'll literally implode if I don't fill this void with a game.
I just made myself LOL. I referenced my gf in a thread where I'm complaining that I've beaten every PC game in existance into submission.

I suggest hitting up walmart, EBgames, a local game store, or whatever is near and buy any games that you haven't played that don't look like total crap.
It was fun for a week when it first came out. Now, installing it takes 4 hours, and yields about 2 hours of "Meh." The Sims 2 is equally Meh.
