I've grown bored of the new games - I've played them all to death.

I've replayed all the classics I felt like replaying.

Thing is, I can't go TOO far back without too much hassle to make it fun. I don't have the inclination to tinker with DOSBOX. So, what do you guys suggest?

Do not suggest:
Anything multiplayer
Anything Star Wars

Would replay it, but my game encounters a bug on the damned christmas party level that makes it crash if I drop any items or place bombs, which makes it impossible to complete any other way than run-and-gun (though you can pull off an SA run-and-gun if you have balls the size of alaska and some luck) - this annoys me to no end and killed any hope for replay any time soon

dude, based on all the suggestions that you've shot down because you've already played them. I'd say you've played enough video games for one life time and need a break 😛

oh, and what about icewind dale? maybe serious sam? a little old school, but both very enjoyable.
