I need some breakfast ideas.. I'm tired of the same old breakfast every day.

Take 2 potatoes, skin them, cut them up into small chunks. Get a big wok pan, put some vegetable oil in the bottom, heat it to medium-high, and coat the bottom of the wok. Pour in potatoes and cover with seasoned salt. Place lid on wok and reduce heat to medium. Flip every 2-3 minutes and reapply season salt when the potatoes have been flipped completely. You may add a small amount of seasoned salt at your leisure throughout the cooking process. Makes good potatoes (IMO), enough to feed two people.

Take that, with 2 eggs, biscuits and bacon, and you have my breakfast every saturday/sunday

Don't forget some garlic powder. I use tabasco sauce to add a sweet kick. Mmm 🙂

This is a serious thread, btw. Why can't you guys take some threads in a serious manner?

If you feel this way, perhaps you should try another forum. 😕

I'll consider it. Meanwhile, can you suggest some breakfast ideas?

Eat oatmeal with some dried fruit and honey.

Poach a couple of eggs on rye toast.

Yogurt and fruit.

Cereal.

You could go European and have some cold cuts and cheese with a side of granola and fruit mixed into some yogurt.

Yeah, we had the full spread when we were in Vienna. Wife hated it, but I loved it. Food1.jpg Food2.jpg

Yeah those breakfast's can be interesting, usually not very warm. Still if you like bread then it should work for you nicely. Since I have a tough time stomaching breakfast in general it was nice to have the bread selection.

Kind of depends on where you go though. When I stayed in Berlin we got a pretty extravagant breakfast in the hotel and it would rival many American places.

Yes, I have found more and more places in Europe and elsewhere offering an American Style breakfast. I guess it's nice to have the option, but I try to stick with local things when I travel.

:Q Isn't that grounds for divorce?

No waffles, eh, OP? Ok, how about some pancakes retrofitted with some sort of indented rectangular grid pattern so as to contain your mad early morning assault with the sticky yet beckoning syrup dispenser?

Holy hell, I didn't know you could buy groceries from Amazon! Then again, WTF would someone buy online and wait a few days for delivery when the grocery store is just down the street?

You missed Bulk Beef Online?

I read some of that thread, but bulk quantities of meat is more of a special order than just a box of cereal, no?

no, I was commenting on the op of that thread asking people about ordering beef online when there is a butcher like right around his corner.

haha, right, *duh*
