Well they talked to my mom, and asked who has been downloaded soo much, because its causing problems for other people in the neighborhood. They also left a number. What should i tell them, i know i have been downloading alot of mp3, since the new morpheus preview edition came out.

Grommet5: At first I thought your post was in jest. Then I checked and discovered you're in Canada. Figures: Socialism in action. Ignore them.

<< tell them to beef up their damn bandwith. >>

"i paid for x amount of bandwidth. your bitching cause im using y amount of bandwidth. now obviously since Y < X, why are you bitching."

Tell them to lick your arse! Unless there is something in the Terms of service about a bandwith limitation, there is nothing they can do about it. You pay for the service, you use it as you see fit. As long as your not hosting a pr0n site or warez site off you pc, you're fine. How in the world could using Morpheus bring down the whole neighboorhood? Unless the infrastructure is already maxed out.

<< Seriously guys, should i be concerned?, i mean can they throttle by bandwidth so, i get a bad ping in rctw. 🙁 >>

No, you shouldn't be concerned at all. Your cable provider really needs to get more bandwidth. They cannot throttle you back legally without notifying you in your contract (assuming you have one), and if they do, then switch providers. It's as simple as that.
I used 2.6 TB/month at my school for two years straight, but they started throttling bandwidth, so I moved off campus. Another simple choice. 😀

Tell them that you use a Virtual Network Connection to connect to other computers from home and that you connect to home from remote computers all the time. VNC Tell them that you leave it connected all the time and others also connect to your computer too.

do they have a download limit ? NO, then tell them to pound sand.. you pay for cable service, you expect to be able to use it as much as you can. if that means you are download 24/7, then that's the way it is. they don't like it, let them drop you, which, if they don't have a download limit, would be hard for them to do.
I have cable internet, and I run my machine 24/7, and I download about 5-10gb a day, on a good day. then other days, I don't do anything.. but I would be very mad if my cable company called me about too much use of the service. I would tell them to stop calling me, because If I pay for 24/7 service, I will have the right to expect to use it. it's that simple.

Tell them to give you your own private line so you don't affect the others in your neighborhood. Tell them your really concerned about them and this would really help remedy the situation.
