My friend wants me to build him a computer. He does not know much about computers so he asked me to help him build on. He will be purchasing the hardware and he wants me to put everything together. I think he's going to give me the money and I'm gonna buy the parts and put it together.

So, I want to ask what you all think I should get him.

I wanted to go with an AMD setup but I think he wants to go the P4 route. So if you can guide me in that direction I'd be greatly appreciative. I do not know much about the P4 route since I am an AMD fan boy.

I need pretty much everything from case to floppy disk drive.

He does not game, but would like a decent video card just in case he does one day.

He wants it to be pretty fast but doesn't have to be top of the line as far as the video card goes, sound card, etc. He isn't an audiophile but he does listen to a lot of music. He would like a pretty decent hard drive (size and performance wise) but nothing like SATA (too expensive).

Thanks in advance.
