WayneTek post 3 months into the future -

"How much did losing your virginity cost you?"

Im 8K in debt and im stuck at home plate. I have taken her to every fancy restaurant in town, tried all different types of colognes and even switched clothing brands multiple times. I dont know how this happened, we started holding hands 4 months ago, but now she says she wants to wait for marriage. Do you know how much weddings cost?! What I am supposed to do?

I'm not much of a cologne guy, but in the last year I've picked up LaCoste and Kenneth Cole...I think I could die before I use all of that stuff up. At least I'll smell nice ;)

Axe is cheap and it smells good.

yup, the only problem is it doesn't last long. So I usually try to convince a lady friend to hold a bottle in her purse so I can do a quick spritz in the cab between clubs. It's pretty difficult though, women are so damn terratorial about what goes in their purses.

You need a man purse.

Ok, i need recommendations on a new cologne.. I'm getting tired of Aqua Di Gio, Tommy, Isseyi Miyaki, and Emporio.

Can you guys give me recommendations on a better cologne smell?

Also, if you guys are curious about my dating situation, so far, i'm still stuck at home plate after close to $800. This weekend, i spent about $184 on two nights. But it consisted of a concert, movie, and a extravagant dinner....

oh and stop spending money on hoes before you hit it. seriously. once they earned there reward its ok to give it to them.
Two of the more comical posts so far this week. Good job guys.

all the girls i've been out with always remember a particular guy by a scent. you shouldnt be, imo, switching scents all the time. find something that smells good and that not too many other people wear, and wear it and stick to it. unless the scent reminds your gf of her possible ex, then don't chnage scents.

i've been wearing candies for the past four years, works for me, i get many copmliments on it (the "you smell good" from a girl).

Every girl that I was close to liked the Curve I was wearing, so..it is a safe choice.

Edit: I just opened myself up for something there, didn't I.

Dude, the day you start seeing dating as an equation of risk vs. reward is the day you take your first step towards hiring prostitutes.

Whatever you choose for a cologne, don't splash it on heavily. Use just enough to tantalize the senses.

You stated: "Also, if you guys are curious about my dating situation, so far, i'm still stuck at home plate after close to $800. This weekend, i spent about $184 on two nights. But it consisted of a concert, movie, and a extravagant dinner."

How long have you known this woman? If your looking for a fast track in scoring by spending a lot of money, for most respectful women this won't do. If you have known her for quite some time, is it possible you may have jumped a stage or two?

Mugatu - Derelict -- absolutley replete with a repugnant and irrefutable residual rotten stench.

ie- if I'm riding my bike behind your car, you have the windows down, and I can smell your cologne......you're wearing too goddamn much of it.

Yes, this has actually happened to me.

Curve is good...Axe isn't quite as good, but it's cheap. Never tried Coolwater, but I've heard people say they like it. Keep in mind that cologne is supposted to be SUBTLE. Slathering it all over yourself so people can smell you from a mile away is not good. Of course that's just me, I don't like very much perfume on girls either. Guess I prefer the natural girl smell :)

Also, you (the OP) sound like a giant tool to me. You are doing a cost/benefit analysis for a dating situation, and you are spending WAY too much money. Unless you are attempting to attract gold diggers, spending tons on money will hurt more than it will help.
