I need people that have an AMD761 chipset and Radeon 8500 combo...PLEASE!

OK, this is getting on my LAST nerve! Do you guys install the AMD AGP mini-port driver? I can't do it on my setup otherwise it will TOTALLY mess up my display in 3D games!! But I believe I need to install it because when playing games like MaxPayne and RTCW it is choppy when looking quickly from on side to another at resolutions (1024x768x32) where my GF2 Pro had no problems doing. Any input from you guys would help...PLEASE! I'm about to ditch this Radeon and get me a TI500! :| I had the mini-port drivers installed with my GF2 Pro and everything worked great. I got a Radeon 8500 because I wanted more speed in RTCW.

what OS are you running?
for WinXP you dont need to install any additional driver. And I think AMD has released a new driver for it ..

I'm running Windows 2000 Pro and if I install the miniport drivers it totally corrupts my 3D image. And it won;t let me reinstall my Radeon drivers again! :|

look for amds new one

and then install the new radeon ones

cant go wrong

and movin to ti500 is a good choice btw
