I need opinions: Best Digital Camera I can get for $500

I would like something over 3 megpixels and prefer compactflash media because i have some already. I am getting more serious in my pictures I take and my 1 megapixel is not cutting it.
 
i sell digi cams at bb, the only decent one we have for $500 is the olympus 3020, which uses smartmedia, you could go with something like the sony p5 or the canon s30 or the nikon coolpix 885, all come with lithium rechargable batteries, which is what the olympus lacks. thats my 2 cents
 
As for Compact Flash . . . go Canon or Nikon like Pexcore says. The best picture quality for under $500 would be the Oly C-3020Z, but it uses S/M.

Also, the new Pentax's are worth a look . . . nicely made and they use C/F.
