Hi everybody,

I am looking for a mobo for someone.

Combos seem to be pretty k001, but i want very honest opinions.

I was wondering if any of you know of any fast and reliable boards for the following??

Are the Nforce boards any good? and if so plz tell me which one you recommend. thanx
Also i was wondering about the P4 boards, and are they good????


I just really need opinions on what is the best stuff to get which are really reliable too.

yes all those Motherboards are good they just suit different peoples needs! Why dont you post what this person will be doing with his or her system and how much money he or she is looking to spend and if they prefer AMD or Intel? Do you want to OC or are you looking for something that is reliable?
 
The NForce boards are good. Asus seems to make the best ones. I would also suggest going with the one without onboard video. Almost all of the P4 motherboards are good. Again Asus seems to make some of the best boards in that arena. You'll have to choose between 3 different chipsets, SIS645 (DDR333), i845D (DDR266), i850 (Rambus). I personally like the SIS645 and i850 the best because they offer more bandwith that the P4 craves. The SI0S645 paired with some cheap Samsung PC2700 is the best bang for you buck on the P4 side of things. I have a P4 rig in my rigs link if you want something to get a basis off of.
